Nevada State Law Enforcement Officers' Association
"Protecting those who serve 24-7"
The Nevada State Law Enforcement Officers' Association (NSLEOA) started in 1987. We represent 23 state law enforcement agencies. NSLEOA is the second largest state law enforcement association in Nevada. We represent Nevada state law enforcement officers 24 hours a day, 7 days a voice and are your voice in the Legislature and Washington DC. Our parent organization, the Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers [NAPSO] represents 19 statewide associations.
NSLEOA's mission is:
* Provide the membership with a top-notch legal defense plan.
* Provide representation at the Nevada Legislature, the United States Congress, Nevada Commissions and Committees for state law enforcement officers.
* Carry out day-to-day business in the best interest of the membership as a whole.
* Support the Nevada Law Enforcement Memorial in Carson City as well as other Nevada charities deemed appropriate through monetary grants and donations.
The NSLEOA is an affiliate of the Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers, CWA Local 9110, AFL/CIO (NAPSO). Throught these affiliations, we have fostered relationship with some very powerful groups!!
Our defense plan is EXCELLENT!! NSLEOA has retained several law firms and have access to almost 40 attorneys, there will not be a conflict of interest when representing numerous members; active members will receive the best representation available. (Retired members do not receive legal defense.)
NSLEOA also has three labor representatives that cover the entire state. Our Association is the only labor organization that provides members dual coverage.
